They died for no cause
Its now pretty darn clear just how naive the Bush administation was about all of this. I think they expected an easy go it and planned that a success in Iraq would propel Bush to an easy reelection. In otherwords, I believe this whole war was concocted in the foolish belief it would help Bush guarantee a second term. This whole thing has been about his reelection at the expense of American lives and hundreds of billions of dollars. Its pathetic.
