This one is a no-brainer... watching animals fight and die for entertainment should have ended with the romans... it stuns me that humans can find that sort of thing 'fun'...

Cockfighting is illegal in hawaii, but it is still popular on the big island- its one of those things that the police wink at and participate in... on my way to work, (maybe a 5 mile drive), I pass 2 or 3 yards full of dozens of little huts where fighting cocks are being raised- they are a nuisance- they are noisy as hell and in such numbers they stink! EVERYONE knows what they are being raised for, and EVERY cop on the island has driven past them- the yards are next to the main highway between kona and hilo... the offenders could put up billboards saying "HEY WE ARE RAISING CHICKENS SOLELY FOR THE BANNED SPORT OF COCKFIGHTING" and not be more obvious than they already are.

Unfortunately, this human trash cannot be prosecuted, because the law doesnt make it a crime to raise fighting cocks- meanwhile their neghbors are kept awake by crowing, and the stench just so these peices of trash can make money raising animals so they can suffer for other human trash's enjoyment...

Any decent person knows trash like that belongs in prison...
