As Tom has pointed out the oil industry is now fully under Iraqi control. The compromise on coalition military operations seemed to be good enough for France, Germany and Russia, even if it's not good enough for you. In less than a year Iraq will have full sovereignty and that's a pretty fast timetable by most historical standards.

Again, things appear to be looking brighter all the time. I'm no Bush fan Bowser but I wish sometimes you could move beyond your single minded hatred of the man and allow yourself to recognize some of the positive developments occurring in Iraq in the post Saddam era.
