I agree but

the definition of racism today isn't the one in the dictionary. It's taken on a whole new meaning.

I just don’t like when people constantly use the R word. I think deep down we all like to be with people that look and think like us regardless of race but it doesn’t necessarily mean that we want to get rid of everyone that doesn’t look like us is that racist? If the father of a white or black daughter preferred that she marry a man within their particular race would he be considered a racist? Just look around and notice how segregated we still are by choice whites perfer to live with whites, blacks perfer to live with blacks etc. you can't really say that's racist it's just the way people are.

Louis Farrakhan and his group (black Muslims) agreed with Hitler’s policy of total elimination of the Jews and believe that whites where created by a mad scientist would that make him a Nazi? Imagine that black Nazi’s.

I mentor in at a Jr. High in the ‘hood’ here in San Antonio and see how bad the educational system in the inter city is compared to the rich suburban ‘white’ school’s. Many of these inner city kids (Hispanic) that are in the 8th grade read at an elementary school level at best and knowledge of basic math is non-exist with some of these kids it’s horrible. To make things worse the parents of these kids could careless about their children’s education. Acceptance of failure in these inner city schools is a vicious cycle that can‘t seem to be broken. They start out by hiring many 3rd rate incompetent teachers (100% are Hispanic) and the blowhard minorities blame their failures on white racism and lots of white’s fall for this con job. I say it’s because the majority of minorities in these lower income areas don’t give a crap about their communities or their kid’s education. I have done everything but beg some of these parents to come to a mentoring session and have only succeeded about 10% of the time. You can’t blame whites for everything, these people need to change themselves and their communities for the better instead of yelling racism and you can’t blame a white person for being sick and tired of being constantly berated for the failures of a minority group.

I don’t know why I got on this rant, but since we’re the melting pot of the world I think race and education of minorities are two of the most important issues facing Americans. Screaming racism all the time isn’t the solution.

Todd
