Right on re Farrakhan - virulent Black Muslim racists .. surrealistic. That's actually my point from my last post - racism can be anywhere. Apparently US Liberal Jews were miffed (To put it mildly), given their support for Black Liberation in the 60s and 70s. Still - it doesn't change the need for an anti-racist stand.

I well understand people disliking being labelled and boxed - especially after being around these boards and seeing how that can happen. I realise you, SDAI and others are trying to argue from your own particular perspectives - However, I think the apathy of those school childrens' parents is more due to cultural and socio-economic factors, than to inherent racial characteristics. You can't make proper assertions or generalizations without putting each racial (or social) group in identical 'experimental conditions' - which is difficult or impossible in the real world. (Just like the astrophysical universe - it's the only 'lab' we have)
