I've never seen a Transit of Venus but I've seen two Transits of Mercury. I was struck by how much larger the shadow of Venus is compared to Mercury's shadow (no surprise when one thinks about it). I'm definitely going to see the Transit of Venus in 2012 (should have done it this year).
