What we are doing is preventing Musharraf from being replaced by an Islamic radical which would be not only very bad for us, but wouldn't make India feel so hot either. What the hell else should the President do? Support those trying to blow Musharraf to hamburger? Write him off? What does that buy us in the war on terror?
