Actually they would be, and are drawn too, Iraq. If the US succeeds in Iraq, an island of freedom will exist in the Middle East. This is unacceptable to Al Qaeda. They know that a free Iraq would spread it ideas to other countries in the region. Saudi Arabia is almost there. The youth in Iran want freedom. Kuwait has it. Afghanistan is working on it.

A free and prosperous Middle East will be the end of Al Qaeda. They know it which is why they want us to fail in Iraq. And why we must win.
