Well said Lindy. There have been numerous accounts by renowned pschologists analyzing the actions and words of King George and all have come to the conclusion that he exhibits all the symptoms of recovering alcoholics and drug addicts that have mastered the beast by replacing their addictions with strict religious dogma. From that point in their lives there can be no grey areas in issues. Everything has to be black and white, good vs. evil. Any slide away from that threatens their basis for giving up their own personal demon. Take away the strictness of their religious rules and suddenly a drink or a poke with a needle can be rationalized again.
Interestingly enough, here in Phoenix, we have another example of a person that took this route. It seems that Alice Cooper is now a born-again Christian. I spoke recently to the owner of a theater venue here in the valley that had Cooper perform. He said that Alice had turned into a tyrant backstage, banishing anyone from the area that muttered a cussword in his presence. Hmm, wonder if GW bit any heads off chickens in his college days.
