Okay, maybe I'm being too negative.
Maybe I should AGREE that I'm happy Hussein and his sons are gone.
Maybe I am happy that some of these Iraqis want "democ...ccc...cccracy".
And I guess I'm happy my SUV will have gas for the foreseable future.
What I am NOT happy about are all the lies, the cost to the taxpayers, the unnecessary deaths of our soldiers and the innocent Iraqi civilians, and the backlash from a new form of jihadism that this Bush administration foreign policy has incurred.
It wasn't about weapons of mass destruction. That people like Tom, Ed Nelson and REB STILL believe that Bush did this to pretect THEM, is (to me), totally preposterous. You guys would inhale pablum, if they put your name on it.
