Watch for the "Rehabilitation of Saddam Hussein." His crimes will be toned down and irrelevancies like how he looks, his tone of voice, and the opinions of the "Arab Street" will be hyped.

The objective is to create the impression that this person was never a threat, and never could have been a threat. A similar history rewrite has been underway for some time regarding the Soviet Union. To hear some people talk now, you'd think we'd fought the Cold War against Bulgaria.
