It is a factor. When I was 15 I would have given my right arm if the woman below had hit on me. On the other hand, so would the school principal.

That being said, it's the job of adults to keep kids from doing stupid things, especially teachers, and this woman severely abused her authority, even if it hadn't been illegal. At the very least, she should be drummed out of the teaching business.

Again, even if this action had not been against the law, feminists used to think that an authority figure having relations with a much more lowly employee was harassment whether it was consensual or not due to the vast power difference in the context (think of a business executive and the mail room boy.)
