To me this evidence (IMO) that the French want to be the rulers of Europe.

When I hear that Kerry will be able to work with the French unlike President Bush, I have to laugh. The French have there own agenda and it doesn't include helping the US.

As far as the sign, I agree, and it breeds a defensive attitude.
