Although I suspect a more accurate word would be "ducking." She would have been pilloried if she had mentioned any other religion other than Christianity. Apparently, some bigots are more equal than others. Hell, if an entertainer said he was uncomfortable about Democrats in the audience, he's probably get away with it, but he'd never hear the end of it.
Geez, alcaray. If a restaurant owner had said he was uncomfortable about Jews eating there, do you think the only appropriate comment to that statement would have been "how would he know who's Jewish?"
