I have yet to hear a conservative who is not John McCain say that they SHOULD. If the radcons are keepers of the nation's moral compass, they should be screaming this from the rooftops. But they aren't. And why? It will cut into their financial contributions, that's why.

A quick and dirty search shows about two dozen speeches by George W. Bush alone on this subject.
