What's depressing is that you think that's satire.
Maybe number 3. The rest is dead serious, and up until now has been standard U.N. operating procedure. How long can people dodge the question of exactly what would different right now if the U.N., Germany and France had enthusiastically supported the invasion of Iraq?
Would they be pouring tens of billions into the effort? Thousands of troops? Would there be no insurgency, or terrorists?
Will anyone on the Left get off their knees and ask exactly what the U.N. would have actually done?
Does anyone have an answer other than "Well, France and Germany would LIKE us more?" This latter seems to be the entire goal of Kerry's foreign policy.
