The United Nations is a place where people talk about things forever, and get paid for it. logically impossible In the real world, sometimes this doesn't work. Attempting to distill a reasonable objection from this stuff (let me know if I'm way off base): you say that the UN talks but never solves anything? If so, then there are a number of things to point to that the UN has done a pretty good job of. I won't waste the search-time unless you persist, though.

Further, there is nothing to say that the UN (like our own federal government) can't be improved where necessary.
