DEATH TOLL FROM HURRICAINE CHARLIE EXCEEDS 200,000

In a shocking development several Florida official have come forward to publicly dispute the official death toll of 'dozens' ws about 4 orders of magnitude too low. The unnamed officials admitted that as many as 220,000 may have perished in hurricaine Charlie, and that bodies were still being found by the dozens every hour. This news shocked and horrified many Floridians and teir relatives. When asked why the numerous relatives hadnt made the stunning loss of life known to the media Florida official Katherine Harris stated "Well the vast majority were, oddly enough, all retirees that had outlived all their children, or flaky lunatics that spent all their time wandering around the world looking at crop circles- so none of them were really missed.
When asked about how the numerous bodies were being handled the anonymous officials explained that the bodies were being dumped into the crocodile infested swamps for disposal, government contractor, Halliburton, was handling the disposal. Questions were raised as to why Florida officials would go to such lengths to cover up the extent of this natural disaster, one tipster explained with the following: "The order for the coverup came from the highest levels, this is an election year and the administration did not want the hurricaine used against them." When asked how a natural disaster could possibly be used as a political weapon the whistleblower answered "Cant you imagine the Kerry campaign ads? 'Vote for a republican, and you die a horrible windy death' it would be a political disaster!!!"

This reporter was shocked and disbelieving, but the munching sounds echoing in the swamps confirmed the horror.
