re: some of the greatest roads in the country, though.

Several years ago, my wife and I took a scenic trip from Ouray, Colorado (known as "Little Switzerland") back to the Springs. That was a beautiful but white knuckle drive. It's a narrow winding 2-lane highway (with no guard rails) that overlooks some very deep valleys. Did I mention there are no guard rails? The scenery was beautiful, but all I saw was what was straight ahead. I dared not look to the sides because, you know, there were no freaking guard rails! There was a fatal accident there just a couple weeks ago when someone lost it and fell into one of those valleys.

The drive would've been much more fun had I been driving a male menopause car like the Honda S2000. Instead, I was driving by wife's minivan. Not exactly the optimum machine to take on a winding mountain road, especially one with no guard rails.
