You Kinda Proved My Point

Couldn't see any relevance could you?

As for your other post it wasn't addressed to me. My last post was at 1:30 AM my time. I answer generally answer posts that inform me, continue a rational debate, irritate me, or sound good but make some flawed hidden assumption. Posts that aren't addressed to me and don't really seem to make a point or are really fractured, I don't have time for. I have criticized Bush many times on some of the points you seemed to be trying to make and pointed out the descrepencies in some of the others. I see no point in debating the same general accusations over and over.

It frustrates me that as flawed as Bush is, Democrats are so oblivious to their own faults that they keep compounding them. They have taken to using the same type of tactics as the worst of the Republicans and somehow think it's OK if they do it yet whine when the Republicans do it. It's time to get beyond bashing Bush the person and focus on bad Bush policy. Too bad the Democrats want a return to the weak foreign policies of Clinton and Carter when Security remains one of the top issues in the campaign. Do they expect to loose a policy debate, so prefer to villainize tyhe opposition?

Kerry made his Vietnam service an issue not Bush. I think if you want to campaign as a war hero you should really clearly have been one. If it is clear cut and truly outstanding it shouldn't be a centerpiece of your campaign. Dole and Bush1 had more to brag about and they said far less.

Regards,
Mark
