Looks like you haven't heard either...

Ooops. That $23 million dollar lobbying fee makes running off to Canada look pretty good in comparison. This one will most likely leave even Rush at a loss for words.

Given the media ownership, it's going to be interesting to see how this story plays via the internet, and who, where, when, and how the details come out in old line media. Don's link is to the olympian (Washington/Oregon); there's another in San Francisco chronicle.

George Murphy, Ronald Reagan's political mentor, had a sage piece of advice: "Don't get into a pissing contest with a skunk." If only W. Bush had of followed his own thinkng in putting a end to attack politics, instead of differing to the judgement of others who present themselves to him as his intellectual superiors. Clearly they did him no favor.

Oh well - the spewing has already begun, and its too late to put the stink back now.

With 9 weeks to go before the election, that leaves say 3 weeks for Kerry's prosecutorial "mistakes" and W. Bush's "business dealings", another 3 for examining both of these hypocrites drug "experimentation" or tolerance therof, and say 2 weeks for former girlfriends, leaving only about 1 week for the both of candidates to thoroughly demonstrate their complete inability to handle the nation's problems.

I suppose this is for the best, as then none of the electorate will be too upset by having to take a hard look at the very serious issues facing this nation.

In the meantime, candidate Nader will be touring the country by public transit, enthralling his supporters at a stunning series of coffee parties held at their houses, and "Where's Ralph today?" will come to replace "Where's Waldo?" as the nation's favorite party game.
