Serving in the Guard is not quite the same thing as running to Canada.
I doubt you'll ever tighten your assessments of Bush Don, but it would be welcome. I think far too much has been made of the candidate’s military service. I really thought your party would have thrown Bush to the mat over the justification for going to war but things just seem to be "business as usual".
I thought the Dems would have exhibited the "outrage" that LJ was looking for when the war started. I figured the election would be the time for debating whether we were right or wrong in going to war. It's still a question for debate but I guess in some ways it can’t be answered until there is an outcome.
It was a gamble and the dice are still rolling.
