Dems abandon their heritage
There was a time when many on American left embraced "draft dodgers" as true heros of the Vietnam period. It's really pathetic to see how eagerly they shed their own skin when a measure of political advantage is at stake. Their own past ceases to exist when it becomes an inconvenience.
The Dems have the gall to call the Republicans unethical, but they give as good as they take. And their endless (endless!) self-congratulation is just plain sad. The Dems leave no footprints on the political high-road, except in their self-serving imagination.
