Kerry does seem lackluster.
I suspect the press is busier covering the negativity of the Bush campaign than dealing with issues.
Which is what the Bush people would want.
And I suspect everyone is surprised at how the negativity is playing. Imagine, an AWOL pilot making fun of a person who was fighting, and scoring with it. Wouldn't have thought the public was that silly.
Anyway, I'd have to agree. Bush has managed to deflect this, so far, from what ails the country to rather senseless ad hominem attacks on Kerry, and the media has followed right along.
Sorta shoots the idea of a liberal media in the butt, doesn't it?
