All our votes count the same. I can see the good side of someone and unfair treatment of him even when I strongly disagree with him on many issues. Yes the Clinton point is kind of a trademark, you don't find many here claiming that and supporting Bush do you? Almost everyone else seems to stick by their party regardless of what crap they spout. Frank C, Gary, and some of the moderate Republicans are clearly willing to criticize either party, but I've heard scant criticism from any Democrat besides Gary about Clinton's weak policies that led us to the point where Al-queida GREW strong enough to pull off 911 and Saddam had booted out UN inspectors with the tacit support of France and Russia.
It's not about not changing horses midstream. I'd love to replace Bush with a moderate Republican or a moderate Democrat with a strong defense posture. I'm not willing to risk the security issue on Kerry when he has been so inconsistant in his Iraq stance (where were you during the primaries?) and clearly thinks France and the UN should have had more say. I strongly disagree with that because I followed closely just how incompetant the UN was in maintaining inspections and how France facilitated that deterioration.
Security is the strongest issue because it has far more damaging potential than all of Bush's dunderheaded screw ups combined. Telling France their opinion doesn't matter more than anyone else's on an issue they have been under handed on is not one of Bush's many mistakes.
Thanks for your time,
Mark

No, I Think My View Is More Objective

- This is priceless...
- If Sen. Ted Kennedy wants to help elect Kerry, he should come out in favor of Bush. (n/t)
- Kerry does seem lackluster.
