Why the hell does the concept of gay marriage scare people?

First the religious right slanders all homosexuals as non monagamous degenerates that spread disease, Then when homosexuals want to establish legally binding monogamous relationships they label it a threat to marriage... make up your damn minds you hyppocrites!

Defense of marriage my ass! Us heterosexuals have done plenty to destroy that institution- 50% of marriages end in divorce- does anyone really think letting gays marry will really hurt it any more? It is just about oppressing a group of people that make you uncomfortable...

Why do people even give a damn?! Look you may find thier behaviour in the bedroom repulsive, but I am willing to bet most people here have done things in bed that are against the law in some states- maybe even your own...

This isnt a threat to anyone, its just religious zealotry... If gays want to marry let them- they are entitled to the same headaches as heterosexuals...
