my own penguin needs

If I wanted to use Linux as a webserver, running on an old Pentium II 300 Mhz Server (Mirrored SCSI drives) which distro would I use.

I don't fear learning more stuff, but would like a fairly safe and easy entry into the linux world. I do confess that learning to run linux from the command line starts me shakin' a bit.

Currently my server has windows NT 4.0. I have all the MS software for it and could easily load IIS, but am not sure its a good idea to put NT 4.0 on the net (even with service pack 6). Nothing on the disks needs saving, so I can start from scratch withou a problem.
