"Exterminate" Israel is an argument proposed by those who want to get rid of those who are Israel's enemies. It's propaganda and nothing more.

No way can Iran exterminate Israel without retaliation from the US and the Iranians know that very well.
No way can Iran bomb the US with its nuclear arsenal, even if it had one, and not expect retaliation.
The US is the strongest military nation in the world and no country can afford to threaten it without expecting a much more threatening answer.
But then, people usually attribute to others the very same threats they can poject unto others; that's why 911 took place: no imagination ready to expect it.
And that's why Iraq is becoming a US failure.
