You might remember the origin of the term "spam": Monty Python's song in which the lyrics consist entirely of the word "spam", over and over and over and over...
So, ironically enough, Ed's constant pasting of the same phrase into n/t subject lines, over and over and over...is actually truer to the meaning of spam than even unsolicited commercial email, which at least varies the words a little (it's amazing how many ways they've found to say "viagra").
I would agree with you that short one-sentence posts are better in subject lines. It's just that "Why do you keep spamming what is obviously false?" doesn't quite measure up to the standard of a post, at least by Zone standards. It makes one ludicrously ironic accusation--a spammed subject line accusing people who take the time to write real posts of spamming--and an unsupported opinion that something is false. At least argue why it's false!
Maybe spamming isn't the right term for it either. Maybe "heckling" is a better term. And of what value is heckling in a forum that's supposed to be about conversation?
I judge a person's contribution by how many replies his/her post attract. Notice how few of Ed's posts--even when he bothers to write a message body--get a reply? I stand by my suggestion to Ed that he make an effort to actually contribute something to the conversations here.
