Be sure to read Atrios on this topic. According to the blogs, this is not the first time this man has been involved in a similar situation. And is the thug next to him a member of the family? More here than the simple story.

There's this guy. He's a Republican. Amazingly, for the past three presidential elections he's managed to convince reporters that he's gotten attacked and gotten his signs stolen and destroyed. What are the odds?
