Bush as a track record of 3 1/2 years as president. We know how he will react as president when faced with a crisis. Events of over 30 years ago are irrelevant. We know the man and how he does the job. The allegations of him getting preferential treatment and leaving service early are silly when compared to his record, whether you like it or not.
Back in 2000 when Bush was first running for the job, Bush'ss only track record was as governor of Texas. Gore had a track record in Congress and 8 years as Vice President. Democrats tried the National Guard line back then and it didn't make any difference to the voters. What makes you believe people give a damn now, given that in 1992 Kerry himself said that service in Vietnam shouldn't be a criteria for the presidency (that was when he was supporting Clinton against Bob Kerrey, a Medal of Honor winner).
Like I said, one definiton of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and somehow expecting a different outcome. This is at least the 5th time that Democrats have played this against Bush and it hasn't worked yet. By that definition, I guess you and the Democrats are insane.

- CBS's memo becomes a free pass for Bush? Isn't that what Rove wanted.
