I did answer your question, you just didn't like the answer. If the fakes were easy to detect (and they were) the only explanation for running them is extreme bias. Given extreme bias there is no need for conspiracy theories. Occum's razor once again.

You and CBS don't know anything on the AWOL issue. Real documentation of the sort faked is the only thing that would prove the allegations that have been around for decades and discarded by voters as irrelevant. CBS may believe the rumors because they want to, but that is bias not knowing and definitely not objective reporting. There is no acceptable defense for CBS's behavior. CBS needs to fire someone to regain any credibility as an objective source of news.

Are you now claiming CBS are idiots as well and that everyone knows they are such idiots that they can plan a double cross without fear of getting caught? If they are such idiots why do you think they know anything?

You also ignore motive. Bush was thumping Kerry before this came out based on Kerry's Iraq waffling. Since Kerry has been doing even more of that Bush only needs to stand pat. He didn't need a dirty trick. Kerry did.
