It's still news and it still is honest enough to report major gaffe's by either party. The difference is how balanced the reporting is and how much time is spent going over the issue. An issue discussed and rejected as unimportant in a previous campaign deserves no more than a test hearing in a subsequent one. When it is shown once again to be of little import to the public telling it over and over is obviously a biased attempt to make an issue of something the public has said was not. CBS clearly was so far gone down that path that they ignored contradictory evidence to their story from the purported author's own family. The simplist explanation for this fiasco is CBS bias not Republican Jedi-mind tricks.
If it was Republican Jedi-mind teicks it was ingenious. Rather strange for a moron President don't you think? Try to be a little more consistant. The Bush is an evil genius, no I mean a moron flip-floping is even funnier to watch than Kerry trying to wriggle off his own flip flops on Iraq.

Mark
