Officers and technicians that are less likely targets are often from the middle class. The cannon fodder is generally from the lower classes and of course there are exceptions. Remember, I got to see this first hand in my military years so I'm not buying into someone else's rhetoric. I'm basing my opinion on actually first-hand experience.

Now, how many are the sons of corporation CEO's, Congressmen, rock stars, sports celebrities? You'd be hard-pressed to find many there.
