As I have said on many occasions, there is plenty to discuss about how things could be done better in Iraq.
That is not the issue with Donald.
He rejects the whole idea that we should have even gone there, lies about why we are there to jsutify his postion, and then spams his lie at every opportunity.
I think he gets off on the American deaths, at this point.
In retorspect about Iraq, I would have considered putting more troops in quickly after the military victory.
I would have considered keeping the Iraqi Army in barracks.
I would have considered using a much tougher martial law up front, including disarming the population.
I would have considered better protection for the moderate Shiite clerics, nearly all of whom were murdered by people like Sadr.
I would have considered leveling Fallujah afger the Americans were butchreed by mob action.
But you know what?
I know the difference between arm chair quarterbacking and discussion and undermining our work in Iraq.
The DNC today, and pitiful schmucks like Don, don't.
The transformation of Iraq into a civilized place is going to happen inspite of the naysaying and mistakes that occur. It is time, the Iraqis want it, we have a President with the vision, and our troops have the skill and commitment and tougness, to do it.
