The idea that the insurgents, who are attacking Iraqi civilians, Iraqi authorities, Iraqi institutions, and religious worshipers, somehow have the best interests of the Iraqi people at heart is so blazingly outlandish that I'm not sure it's even worth responding to anymore.

They are not supported by most Iraqis.

Please try to reestablish a connection to the world outside your own head.
