Fox was wrong. I agree they were wrong. They agree they were wrong. They corrected their mistake on their own. They saw they messed up and they voluntarily took responsibility.

CBS never took responsibility. They fought tooth and nails saying they were right, until enough evidence convinced them they might be wrong. They left it at “we will investigate further.” They never caught the mistake on their own and they never voluntarily took responsibility for it.

I disagree, with your subject heading. I don’t think this is a difference between Liberals and Conservatives. I think most Liberals will admit that Fox did took responsibility and did the right thing, where as CBS did not. Kudos to the ones that do.

BTW, I accepted Dan Rather’s apology. I guess you missed that post.
