Your argument is that the Conservatives on this board went after CBS over their forged documents, but we didn’t have a problem with Fox running a false story.

CBS’s ran with their story for over a week. I hadn’t heard of Fox’s story until you brought it up. I bet most people can claim the same.

CBS’s forge document was all over the cable, TV stations and internet. Fox’s didn’t get much coverage because they voluntary retracted it soon after it came out.

The Fox story had to do with some false Kerry quotes. The CBS story had to do with forges military documents. Does that matter? I’ll let you decide, but the point is, Fox’s story was known by very few and everyone heard CBS’s story.

Upon hearing Fox’s story, I admitted they were wrong and thought they did the right thing by retracting it.

You still don’t see the difference in Fox taking responsibility to voluntarily retract the story (Which is why no one is making a big deal about it but you) and CBS being forced to retract their story. It is about responsibility.
