I sincerly hope that you are correct that you have just won the war on terror with this arrest. And believe me, we are arresting terrorists whenever we can as well...but there is a time and place for military force in the war on terror.

Sadam was a threat. No court of law could have removed him from power. No UN resolution could have removed him from power. He had a grip on power and his people that could only be removed one way. We tried diplomacy for 14 years+ going back to before the 1st Gulf War...Diplomacy failed. Sadam could not and would not bargin in good faith. War was the only way to stop his tyranny.
