Why did you want so badly for that to be a wedding party?
Tom, why in the world do you want so bad for your political opponents to want it to be a wedding party? So you can point out their inhumanity and feel morally superior? That's such a crock of shit. You're accusing people of ghoulishness. I'd be willing to bet large sums of money that the people you oppose on here would never wish pain and death on innocents simply so their side could get a political boost.
Anyway, the point of all of this has nothing to do with American perceptions or desires. The primary problem is the perception of the people in the Mideast and, as my previous post states, their TV stations are all broadcasting that the hit was on civilians. Tom, think about this. If we were wishing for military blunders in Iraq, we'd also be wishing the buildup of more enemies throughout the world because that's the consequence of bad foreign policy and military strategy. To wish for that would be a suicidal wish.
