SPEAKING OF BOOKS ON TAPE
I used to drive between oklahoma and new york on holidays when I was a student, I would check out books on tape to kill the time....One that I checked out made me wish my drive was longer- it was called 'pillars of the earth' by ken follett.
It was a fascinating and well researched novel about life in old england.... I highly reccomend it... It was totally engrosing... I Think it was 28 tapes worth of narration... it was totally engrosing. And despite the agony the characters went through in the story the ending was very rewarding....I reccomend it highly.
