My question here is, given the two possible outcomes to the election, who are you going to blame for this attack if it happens? I certainly don't want to limit the blame just to Kerry or Bush in this quiz. I could see arguments going back to our propping up of the Shah of Iran if someone wanted to make the stretch.
If Kerry wins he will take over on Jan 20, you can't possibly blame him until then.
But of course the people to really blame are the terrorists and whose that support them.
I think our success in the short term in thwarting terror attacks is largely due to our heighten awareness of the issue and the willing of bureaucrats to work together. This will not last very long [unless there is another successful terror attack- to give it another kick in the butt]. Long term I think our invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq has done and will do much to prevent further terror attacks. It seems like there is some action taking place regarding the Israel Palestinian matter and wouldn't be surprised if we get more movement in this area in a few months- and that would help make it easier to improve relations with arab countries.

- Definitely meant other than the terrorists themselves.
- YOur question reduces the responsibility of those who decided to wage war against us. It is truly a pathetic question.
