Ebu Gogos (Indonesian hairy murmuring little people) existed according to local legend into modern times up to about 100 years ago. They supposidly murmered to each other and could parrot human words. This info was from BBC, MSNBC or another of the news sources frequently sited here. Check it out. The geologic evidence suggests, but does not prove they died out 12,000 years ago. The local legend is very intriging. OK misspelling intentional but they're so neat I'll claim em. Way cool! I'd like to know more about the tool set and how smart chimp sized brains can get.
