Hi Larry
No I'm not a Murri [what Aboriginals call themselves here in SE Queensland] - tho my niece is - but a Murri friend of mine had been in Southern India and had met some Andamanese. He thought they were very Aboriginal looking.
The Hobbits themselves were small in all respects, unlike pygmy humans and the Negritos whose brain size isn't much reduced from our own. The Hobbits are genuinely something new under the Sun.
