Hi Larry

Unless you mean the term "Ebu gogo" referred to Negritos. But the new species has a lot more in common with Homo erectus, who were on Flores over 800 kya, than with Homo sapiens. Whether they were a distinct species is a tough one. Can't say until we know more.
