Literally thousands of Al Qaeda terrorists got away at Tora Bora and the vast majority are still out there.
In fairness the region is extreme and with multiple escape routes. It would have been very difficult to drop the hammer there. Then again if we committed less than half the number of forces to Tora Bora that we committed to Iraq I bet we could have done it.
Kerry may be puffing a little but the bottom line is this was another Bush mistake as Commander In Chief.
