Discussing Java man and how Dubois renounced his own discovery. Mentioned the disagreement over it when it was found. Many said ape, many said man, some said missing link. Didn't mention the obvious confusion any new fossil casues, or the fact that Dubois' renouncement was proved wrong by MANY subsequent discoveries. You have to be an utter ignorant fool to look at a skull of Homo erectus and not see it is far different from an ape or modern human. I'll bet they don't show pictures at these sermons. I seldom debate this issue at work due to the problems it may cause in a work environment, but the few times I have I am schocked by the utter crap about evolution people learn through church.

Mark
