Is this significant? hard to tell with the poor english and lack of definition. What really is Ls - appears to a mixture of time and latitude. And what significance do the differing normalized values have? Are we dealing in a few neutron counts, hundreds, thousands? My feeling is that there are not many involved as neutron fluxes from very large areas are binned and thus statistical significance could be small. I was also suprised to see a Boynton's name on such a poorly prepared paper. One might have expected him to at least read a proof.
