Do you support a draft?
As a last resort, sure.
There are lots of methods of gaining recruits that can be tried short of a draft. Some of them (eg. president asking for volunteers) have a finite shelf-life. The less people think that this war is a good thing, and the less people think that the president is competent to lead, then the less effective are these measures.
15 years ago we were able to field more divisions than we can now. And 15 years ago we did not have a draft. Why is it suddenly impossible to raise a larger armed forces without a draft?
Where were you when the military was being slashed?
With everyone else - thinking we would not volunteer for any indefinite occupations, unsupported by significant allied forces, of large countries, populated partly by a large number of people who did not want us there.
Where were you?
Should we have waited two years to bring our forces up to where they should have been? Yes. It is not a good idea to commit insufficient forces to tasks, ever. If you don't think the proof of that statement is in the headlines then I can't help you.
What would Saddam have been doing in the meantime?
Likely similar to what he did in the prior two years.
