It would be interesting to study before and after topographical maps of the region.

It should then be possible to see what moved where, and how far.

But I'm nt sure that such maps even exist at the resolutions needed to gain meaningful data on this event.

I'm sure that NASA and others who study Earth Science will be looking at this in the near future if they aren't already.
